Mrs. Ada E. Fleenor, 81, formerly of 1610 Edgewood, died at 9 p.m. Tuesday (Sept 10, 1974) at the Americana Nursing Home. She had been a patient there three months and seriously ill six weeks. Born June 11, 1893 in Warren county, Ind., she was the daughter of Abraham and Laura Belle Sears Payton. She was married in 1908 to Dawson Fleenor who died in 1929. She had formerly resided in Boswell, Ind., and in Arizona. She was formerly employed at the Simpkins Funeral Home in Boswell and at the Case factory in Elgin. She was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Danville. Survivors include three sons, Elmo of South Elgin, Gordon of Elgin and Harold of Sierra Vista, Ariz; two daughters, Mrs. Chuck (Marjorie) David of Lake village, Ind., and Mrs. Walter (Dorothy) Denney of Danville.; 28 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchilren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Yuill-Shoemaker Funeral Home in Boswell, with the Rev. Maurice Gritten officiating. Burial will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Warren County, In.
